The Exhibitionist is a new journal made by curators for curators. It is focusing solely on the practice of exhibition making and will be published twice a year, following a strict editorial structure that revolves around the analysis and examination of past, present, and future exhibitions.

The launch of the first issue of The Exhibitionist will be celebrated on February 11 at Archive Kabinett in Berlin.  Several of the contributors and members of the editorial board will be present; they will engage in a public conversation about the current state of exhibition making and the new wave of publications on the subject of curating. The speakers will include Jens Hoffmann, Chus Martínez, Tara McDowell and Adriano Pedrosa.

We have a sort of swapping session of youtube, using it as a vehicle to explore ideas and share links. I really like the freedom that allows. Solace

by mousse

February 1~2010

This exhibition, on view from the 4th of February at the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York, shows art in a very mundane sense as a source of solace. The show consists of two perspectives. The first addresses the topic of solace in a contemplative movement revolving around objects, video and painting. The second focuses on the aspect of inebriation and intoxication, and assembles art works in different venues.
