XVIII Advanced Course in Visual Arts
Are We Really Free? / Visiting Professor Liliana Moro
We take this opportunity to remember the open call for the XVIII Advanced Course in Visual Arts of FAR, dedicated to young artists from all over the world. Created and directed by Annie Ratti since 1995, the course is conceived as an experimental lab for art and theory guided by an artist who, each year, shares his or her thinking and artistic practice with the participants.
The 18th edition of the CSAV titled “Are We Really Free?” will take place from 2nd – 25th July 2012 and Liliana Moro will be Visiting Professor. The workshop will approach the concepts of freedom and sharing spaces, thoughts and actions.
A jury will select the 20 participating young artists from the presented portfolios. The participants of the workshop will be involved in daily activities dedicated both to the reflection and to the practice of the artistic activity. During the course, seminars and public lectures will serve to deepen and extend the theme of the course.
The first one with Liliana Moro is planned for July, 5th and on 12 July, Arto Lindsay will hold a lecture titled Proud Beggars.
