“Le Monde Ou Rien” at Sgomento, Naples

“Le Monde Ou Rien” is the first group show organized by Sgomento, featuring works by Alessandro Bava, Alessandro Carano, Giorgia Garzilli, Francesco Joao, Jared Madere, Marco Pio Mucci, Raffaela Naldi Rossano, Matteo Pomati, Margherita Raso.

The exhibition is hosted by Giorgia Garzilli’s studio.

Sgomento’s aim is provoking a dialogue between the traditional and new forms of power and what is broadly referred to as the world of spirituality.
Ambition, personal richness, and pretention to pureness play a major role in this matter. Sgomento has, in some of its past issues, made up stories about these themes, and in general, references more or less concealed are contained in all the Sgomento comics production.
We are victims and accomplices, we are incurable; living right now in a long passage in which, apparently, the consumeristic hedonism model is giving way to a spiritually higher state of consciousness and realization of everyone’s own identity.
Maybe full and honest awareness of this state can be the first cure. But we are not obliged to heal, of course.
