“Neptune Society” at Galerie Buchholz, Berlin

The exhibition “Neptune Society, San Francisco Columbarium, 4th Fl., Dome Room, South Wall, Tier 4, Niche 2” with contributions by Julie Ault, Heinz Peter Knes, Danh Vo has been initiated by Danh. For the installation in the gallery and the planned publication (that will come out in January 2013, published by Galerie Buchholz) Danh Vo invited Julie Ault and Heinz Peter Knes to collaborate on a hommage to the work and the estate of the legendary artist Martin Wong. The publication features a new essay by Julie Ault on Martin Wong, as well as photographs by Heinz Peter Knes of the house of family of Martin Wong in San Francisco. The exhibition shows alongside new works by Danh Vo especially selected works and objects from the estate of Martin Wong.
