“The Hawt Show” at Borgo Colle Melone, Atina / organized by Galerie Rolando Anselmi

Rolando Anselmi is thrilled to launch the chapter 0 of a new ambitious project supported by the gallery.

“The Hawt Show” is an outdoor project and a short-residency program taking place in the countryside near Rome.

In the first edition the Berlin based artists Santiago Taccetti (1974, ARG), Mirak Jamal (1979, IRAN), Christian Tonner (1977, GER) and David Keating (1977, AUS), are invited to share experiences and practices in a six days symposium at an incredible location surrounded by the beautiful and wild nature of the National Park of Abruzzo.

As a contribution to the project, the artists will produce site specific works that will be presented in a final group show.
For this occasion, more artists are invited to join the experience for a 1 day final event.
Based on an non-exhibition format, each artist will have the chance to present his/her own works specifically conceived for different parts of the property including a proper exhibition space, indoor locations, patios, gardens, wood lots and a pool.

The disposition of the artworks in the different spaces of the property and the chance to discover each of them step by step through an undefined journey, will create a link athwart the different practices and experiences of the artists.
